Privacy Policy

Last updated: Not yet published

Working draft - not yet reviewed by legal.

This page is built from a direct audit of the site's actual functionality but still has open items marked pending below: the applicant data retention period and the dedicated privacy contact email. It's linked from the site footer for preview, but stays out of search results until those are resolved.

TBS Global ("TBS Global," "we," "us," "our") operates tbsglobaloutsourcing.com and its associated pages, including our applicant assessment tool (collectively, the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with - separately forgeneral site visitors and forjob applicants using our assessment tool, since the two involve very different data.

This policy is written to meet our obligations under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012, the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Australian Privacy Principles), and applicable US state privacy laws, given TBS Global operates across these jurisdictions.

Part 1 - General site visitors

What we collect

Contact form (homepage, navigation quick-contact modal, and /contact page). When you fill out our contact form, it collects: your name, company (optional), email address, selected service line, and message.

Important: this data does not go to us as a stored submission. The form runs entirely in your browser and opens your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to sales@tbservices.com.au. Nothing is transmitted to or stored on a TBS Global server when you fill out the form. If you choose not to send the resulting email, we never receive anything at all. If you do send it, what we receive is a normal email in our inbox - handled the same way as any other correspondence you'd send us directly.

Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Loading these files sends your device's IP address to Google as part of a standard web font request. We don't control this exchange beyond choosing to use Google Fonts; seeGoogle's privacy policyfor how they handle it.

Cookies and tracking. As of this policy's last update, this Site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or any cookie-setting scripts. If that changes - for example, if we add analytics or a chat widget - we will update this policy and, where required, present a cookie consent option before any non-essential cookie is set.

How we use it

Contact form data (once you've sent the resulting email) is used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately opt in, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

Because we don't retain contact form submissions as stored data (see above), there is generally nothing on file to request access to or deletion of beyond your own sent email and our reply - which you're welcome to ask us to delete from our inbox at any time by contacting us (see Contact us below).

Part 2 - Job applicants (assessment tool)

Our applicant assessment tool at /assessment/involves meaningfully more data collection than the rest of the Site, because it's designed to evaluate skills under timed, proctored conditions. We want applicants to understand exactly what's collected before they begin.

What we collect

Application details you provide:first name, last name, email address, department applied to, position applied for, and your selected difficulty/experience level.

Your quiz responses: every answer you select, per-question and per-area scoring, and total time taken.

Session integrity monitoring. While you take the assessment, the tool actively monitors and timestamps the following behaviors in your browser tab:

  • Switching to another tab or application
  • Attempting to open browser developer tools
  • Attempting to take a screenshot
  • Copy, cut, or paste actions
  • Right-click / context menu use
  • Print attempts
  • Resizing the browser window
  • Moving your cursor outside the assessment window

These events are weighted into an internal "integrity score." Repeated flagged behavior triggers an on-screen warning and, after enough violations, a lockout of the assessment. We're telling you this explicitly, rather than folding it into generic language, because we believe you should know your in-tab behavior is being logged - not just your answers - before you start.

Technical data: your browser's user agent string and screen resolution are recorded automatically as part of the session record.

Where this data goes

All of the above - your application details, every quiz answer, scores, the full behavioral monitoring log, technical data, and timestamps - is submitted to a Google Sheet via Google Apps Script, a service provided by Google LLC. This makes Google a data processor / recipient of your application data. Because Google's infrastructure may process or store this data outside the Philippines or Australia, this constitutes across-border transfer of personal data.

We use Google Sheets for this purpose because it lets our hiring team review applications efficiently. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond evaluating your application.

Retention

How long applicant data is kept is pending confirmation - the retention period will be stated here, with a firm number, before this policy is published.

Your rights as an applicant

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your assessment data by contacting us at the details below. Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles, you're entitled to know what we hold about you and to request its correction or erasure, subject to legitimate business retention needs (e.g., ongoing recruitment records).

By starting the assessment, you consent to the collection described above, including the session integrity monitoring, for the purpose of evaluating your application. If you're not comfortable with this monitoring, please contact us directly to discuss alternative application arrangements rather than proceeding through the online tool.

Cross-border data transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines or Australia (for example, to Google's infrastructure as described in Part 2), we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection, consistent with our obligations under applicable law.

Children's privacy

This Site and our assessment tool are not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under the age of 18.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we handle. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
